Alumni Coordinator Job Description
Montreat College
Position:
The Alumni Coordinator will report directly to the Assistant Vice President for Advancement at this writing. This is a non-exempt, hourly position with the College’s approved benefit package.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Committed to strong customer service and to enhancing a culture of excellence
- Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree with 3-5 years administrative/leadership experience
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to adapt schedule to changing job demands
- Demonstrated skills in technology – Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Database Software and Systems
- Proven ability to maintain high level of professionalism
- Comfortable as an active team member in a highly-relational and highly goal-oriented environment
Specific Responsibilities:
- Ensure that printed communications (appeals, newsletters and brochures) are produced and mailed in a timely manner
- Monitor Alumni Web Pages for accuracy and function
- Complete quarterly electronic newsletter to alumni
- Supervise Wilson Scholar Program
- Participate in planning activities surrounding Homecoming eg Board meeting and Heritage luncheon
- Work with AVP to develop and implement a plan for growing the number of alumni constituent email addresses in database
- Work closely and effectively with the Alumni Board President and members
- Record and monitor alumni donor activity in Raiser’s Edge and submit requested reports
- Handle sensitive information and transactions with complete confidentiality
- Represent Montreat College well as an ambassador to our alumni, friends and donors
- Craft requested letters to a wide range of constituents
- Support Advancement Team initiatives and work closely with the Events Coordinator for activities related to Montreat College alumni.
- Complete daily administrative services as needed
