Jim Shores, Assistant Professor 

• Teaches Media Studies, Communication & Culture, Communication Methods, Public Relations, and Film History
• Is President of Acts of Renewal, a professional Christian theatre company that has toured nationally for 16 years.
• Has written and performed theatre for organizations like Focus on the Family, Family Life Today, and Youth for Christ.
• Has served as a professional Speaker/Performer to Christian college students around the country at over 70 of the CCCU schools including Wheaton, Biola, Westmont, Gordon, Moody Bible, Messiah, and more.
• Has written theatre to illustrate the talks of Dennis Rainey, John Eldridge, Tony Campolo, Gary Smalley, Luis Palau, Anne Graham Lotz, and more.
• Has served on the Board of Directors of Christians in Theatre Arts (CITA).
• Also serves as a professor for Montreat's Environmental Studies Program.

Michael Flynn

• Teaches journalism as adjunct faculty member at Montreat College.
• Adjunct faculty member in the communications departments at UNC Asheville and Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
• Correspondent for the Asheville Citizen-Times, covering arts and entertainment. Former staff writer at the paper covering business, health, immigration and features beats.
• Contributor to WNC Magazine and Mountain Xpress.
• Published articles on legal matters as attorney for 10 years in New York and Charlotte.
• Ombudsman and columnist for Daily Tar Heel as M.A. student in mass communications at UNC Chapel Hill.
