Don King

Dr. Don King

Don King, Ph.D. (University of North Carolina-Greensboro) has been at Montreat College since 1974 and is Professor of English; he also serves as the Editor of Christian Scholar's Review. He teaches courses in British literature with a focus on Shakespeare, Chaucer, Milton, the British Novel, Nineteenth Century British Literature, and C. S. Lewis. His book, C. S. Lewis, Poet: The Legacy of His Poetic Impulse was published in April 2001 by Kent State University Press. His  Hunting the Unicorn: A Critical Biography of Ruth Pitter, was published in spring 2008 by Kent State University Press. His current writing projects are Out of My Bone: The Letters of Joy Davidman (due out in Spring 2009), Silent Music: The  Letters of Ruth Pitter, and Yet One More Spring: A Critical Study of the Works of Joy Davidman.
