Kurt Grohman is a man of service. Recently, I had the privilege of interviewing Kurt over the telephone. In speaking with him, I felt a sense of nostalgia. Despite his young age of 38, he exuded an unassuming air like that of a World War II veteran from the “greatest generation,” reminding me of my own grandfather who served in Guam during WWII. His conversational demeanor was gracious, soft-spoken, never focused on himself, and even in his dialogue with me, I sensed that his desire was to serve me well with his thoughtful answers.
