In the battle of the Cavaliers, Montreat wasn't able to hold off a deep bench against the Cavs of UVA-Wise, as they fell 67-90. Coach Robinson's men continue to work diligently to find that winning formula on the road; they do however, manage to remain perfect while playing at McAlister Gymnasium this season. Senior forward Kinard Barnett (Charlotte, NC) led Montreat with 19 points, five rebounds, including a perfect 9-of-9 from the stripe. Montreat was held to 40% shooting while UVA-Wise shot nearly 52%. Montreat was once again outrebounded 41-32.

Though Montreat shot 50% from the 3-point line (5-of-10), it wasn't enough to hold 
off the UVA-Wise bench which was credited with 59 points for the night.

Montreat will now put its perfect home record on the line as it takes on Tennessee Wesleyan
at home this Tuesday; game time is schedule for 7:30pm.
