Cavalier soccer team gains national attention!

With a six game winning streak and one of the toughest schedules in school history, the Cavalier soccer team is gaining the attention it deserves. The latest NAIA National Soccer rankings have Montreat College listed as the 32nd ranked team in the country. Albeit only 4 votes, the Cavs have earned the nation's attention as they continue to come together and break into the top 25.

"Again, I think we see signs of a good team coming together," said Coach Michael Combs, recently after their 6th consecutive win. A sign of what Combs considers "coming together" is their NAIA Region XII ranking; for the first time in school history, the Cavs sit atop of the regional polls.

Montreat College continues their preparation for an AAC title by playing their 6th NCAA match-up this season; North Greenville University visits Montreat at home Thursday, September 20th, game time is 4:30pm.
