The Montreat College men's soccer team beats Covenant College, 1-0 to advance to AAC semi-finals of the AAC men's soccer tournament

(Montreat, NC)-Monday, October 30-The Montreat College men's soccer team advanced to the semi-finals of the AAC Men's Soccer Tournament by downing AAC rival Covenant College, 1-0 in a quarter final round.

The game was tied at half time 0-0, after a scoreless first half. Toemile Towah-(Jr. Durham, NC) scored the only goal of the game at 67:30 in the game. Howard Fisher-(Fr. GK, Kingston Jamaica) had 5 saves for the game.

The Cavaliers travel to Chattangooa, TN, on Friday, November 3 for the semi-finals of the AAC Men's Soccer Tournament, an opponent to TBD. The championship game will be played on Saturday, November 4, at 2:00 pm in Chattangooa. GO CAVALIERS!
