Milligan College, TN.---The Milligan College men's soccer team scored a first half goal to defeat the Cavaliers Friday evening in a semi-final game at the NAIA Region XII Men's Soccer Tournament.

Montreat saw their season come to an end with a 15-4-1 record. Friday's game marked the third time Montreat and Milligan battled in 2006, with Milligan winning all three games by the same scores of 1-0.

Milligan advances to the NAIA Region XII Men's Soccer Championshipgame against the #1 seed Brescia University-(Owensboro, KY) the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champions. These two teams will play for a birth in the 2006 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship. Brescia-(16-3-2) advanced with a 4-1 win over King College-(13-6-1) in the first semi-final game earlier on Friday afternoon. The NAIA Region XII championship game is set for 3:00 pm Saturday afternoon, in Milligan College, TN.
