It was one of those nights Coach Jackson wishes to put behind him. After giving the Lady Bulldogs of Union College a tough game at home earlier in the year, Montreat's Lady Cavaliers went into Saturday's game poised to make another strong showing in the AAC. Instead, the Lady Bulldogs, coming off of disappointing loss to Milligan College earlier in the week, took out their frustration against the Lady Cavaliers in a lopsided 84-55 victory. "It was one of those nights," said Coach Jackson, "they really pressed us and played with a lot of intensity. They took a big lead early on and we just couldn't get back into our game."

The loss was one of the Lady Cavalier's toughest of the season.  Under Coach Jackson, Montreat has certainly turned the page and has made its presence in the AAC.  Leading Montreat was Chazaree Wright.  She managed to score 19 points and pull down 14 rebounds.  Whitney Mace also contributed admirably with 11 points and three rebounds.

Montreat continues AAC action on the road this Saturday at 4:00pm against Bryan College.
