The Lady Cavaliers suffered a tough AAC loss to Bryan College this weekend, 64-70. Whitney Mace (Jr., Marion, NC) led Montreat with 18 points and six rebounds off of 6-for-17 shooting. Montreat was held to 37% shooting from the floor and 29% from the 3-point line. Janel Cox (So., Sharpsville, IN) contributed royally with 14 points and eight assists. Cox was also 6-for-8 from the free throw line.

Montreat is now 11-12 on the season and 4-7 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.  The Lady Cavs continue their conference play this Tuesday as they take on Covenant College at home at 5:30pm.

The Lady Cavs ask that all Montreat College students, faculty and staff come out to McAlister this Tuesday and demonstrate the Cavalier Pride as they head toward their final conference games.
