The Lady Cavaliers lost another grueling AAC contest to Tennessee Wesleyan, 62-71. Montreat hit the locker room at the halfway mark tied at 28 points, though it could not handle its opponent's deep bench; TWC had 10 different scorers, with five players hitting seven or more points. Montreat managed to have two scorers in double figures. Kim Staley led all scores with 21 points and nine rebounds.

The Lady Cavs shot 43% for the night, while TWC hit 46% of its shots.  Montreat only managed to hit two 3-pointers in the first half, out of only five attempts, shooting 25% from the arc.

The Lady Cavs slip to 12-15 overall and 5-10 in the AAC.  The team travels to Bluefield College this Tuesday for its last road game of the regular season.
