Montreat College women's golf team results at SVU Fall Classic
Lady Cavaliers women's golf team finish 3rd at SVU Fall Classic.
(Buena Vista, Virginia)-The Montreat College women's golf team finished in 3rd place at the Southern Virginia University Fall Classic, held on the 4th & 5th of October at the Ashley Plantation Golf Course in Dalesville, Va and The Vista Links Golf Course in Buena Vista, Virginia.
Team order of finish; 1) King College-371-379=750, 2) Southern Virginia University-389-365=754, 3) Montreat College-385-393=778, 4) Louisburg College-no team score.
Leading golfers for the Lady Cavaliers; 3rd place and All Tournament Team, Melissa Baker-(FR, Clayton, NC) 93-84=177, * tied for 6th place, Amber Cody-(SO, Marion, NC) 91-94=185, * tied for 11th place, Ashley Mitcham-(FR, Waynesville, NC) 96-101=197 and 16th place, Aimee Turner-(FR, China Grove, NC) 105-114=219.
The Lady Cavaliers next tournament will be October 9, 2006 at Piedmont College Women's Apple Mountain Fall Invitational, at the Apple Mountain Golf Resort, Clarksville, GA
