Hanging tough at 5-3 overall, the Lady Cavs find themselves 1-3 in AAC play after falling to King College this past Saturday in Bristol, TN. “King is a tough team, we have to give them credit for that,” said Head Coach Dan Woerner, “they are a deep squad and played very well organized soccer against us.” Playing one of the best conference teams on the road is always a tough challenge, especially when Montreat is dealing with costly injuries. “We had to shuffle the line-up a bit,” added Woerner, “we have several starters out with different issues. We did however play well for long stretches, but we gave up easy goals in the run of play, which normally means we lacked concentration in that particular moment.”

Montreat continues to hope for a healthy line-up as it continues AAC action this Wednesday as they play host to Milligan College at 3:00pm.
