Warren Wilson gave its homecoming crowd a great performance as they held off Montreat College to a 0-0, double overtime tie. “This was a much improved Warren Wilson team and they gave us all we could handle,” admitted Head Coach Dan Woerner. Montreat found very few chances to score against the Lady Owls. “The few chances we had to score, their goal keeper really stepped up with some great saves. We had a difficult time creating more chances at goal. The thing we didn’t want to do is to commit an error and give them an easy goal,” added Coach Woerner. After the double overtime tie, Montreat fell to an overall record of 7-3-1.

The Lady Cavs continue their tough four-game road trip as they play Bryan College (4-6) this Saturday at 4:30pm.
