(Montreat, NC)-September 30, Homecoming-The Montreat College women's soccer team hosted Warren Wilson College in a non conference game at the Montreat College Soccer Complex, Saturday afternoon. The Lady Cavas won the game 7-0.

Montreat did all of the scoring in the first half of the game, leading 7-0 at half time. No goal was scored after the first half of the game.

Leading the way for the Lady Cavs; Amanda Solesbee-(JR, Hickory, NC) with two goals and Heather Hable-(SO, Stuart, VA) with two goals. Scoring one goal each, Erin Rodriguez-(SR, Fremont, MI), Kaitlyn (KK) Thacker-(FR, Hickory, NC) and Leah Mummert-(FR, Hampton, VA). Heather Hable and KK Thacker had one assists each. Goalkeeper Leah Scroggs-(JR, Leicester, NC) had 3 saves for the game.

The Lady Cavs improve their record to 7-3 overall, 1-2 in the Appalahian Athletic Conference. The Lady Cavs next game is Monday, October 2, 2006, at home against King College in a AAC contest. Game time is 1:30 pm.
