Montreat College women's soccer team loses to AAC rival King College, 3-1.

(Montreat, NC)-October 2-The Montreat College women's soccer team lost to AAC rival King College, 3-1, today at the Montreat College Soccer Complex.

Amanda Solesbee-(JR, Hickory, NC) scored the only goal for Montreat to tie the game at 1-1 in the first half. After half time, King College scored two goals in the second half for the win. Leah Scroggs had 13 saves for the Lady Cavs.

With the loss the Lady Cavs fall to 1-3 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, 7-4 overall. Montreat College women's soccer team next game is Wednesday, October 4 at North Greenville University at 1:30 pm.
