Montreat College loses an Appalachain Athletic Conference game to Covenant College, 4-1, to finish the regular season.

(Montreat, NC)-The Montreat College women's soccer team lost to Covenant College, 4-1 in an Appalachian Athletic Conference game on Saturday, October 21. Covenant lead 3-0 at half time. Montreat and Covenant each scored one goal in the second half for the final score, 4-1.

Kaitlyn (KK) Thacker-(Fr. Hickory, NC) scored the goal for the Lady Cavaliers. With the loss the Lady Cavaliers finshed the regular AAC season with a record of 2-6, (7th place in the AAC), and an overall record of 8-9.

The next game for the 7th seed Lady Cavaliers will be Tuesday, October 24 away against 2nd seed Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA, in a first round Appalachian Athletic Conference women's soccer tournament game. Game time is set for 5:00 pm
