Game 2: Montreat-8 Bluefield-0 -- In the second game of the Double Header, Rachel Stowe-(Fr. Belmont, NC) pitched a complete six inning shutout against Bluefield by the same score 8-0.

 Stowe held the Lady Rams to just two hits in the six innings she pitched. Montreat on the other hand scored 1 run in the first inning, 3 runs in the second fro a 4-0 lead at the end of two innings. The Lady Cavaliers added 2 runs in the fourth, 1 run in the fifth and scored the final run in the sixth for the 8-0 win.

Leading the Lady Cavaliers;

Amber Summerow-(So. Lenoir, NC) was 2-2 with a single and a triple.
Amber Taylor-(S0. Candler, NC) was 2-2 with 1 RBI.
Haven Payne-(Jr. Canton, NC) was 2-3 with 3 RBI's.
Mary Montgomery-(Jr. Bristol, TN) was 1-3 with 1 RBI.
Rachel Stowe pitched a six inning 2 hit shutout, stricking out 7 and going 1-2 with 1 RBI.

The Lady Cavaliers improve to 8-19 overall and 2-6 in AAC conference play for the season. Montreat will play again at home on Sunday, April 1st against Maryville College, Maryville, TN. Game time for the Double Header is set for the first game to start at 1:00 pm.
