Men's Basketball signs stellar recruit in Tyler Buff

Coach Robinson is steadfast in his recruiting as he’s added another stellar player to next year’s roster. His newest recruit is Cherryville High School product, Tyler Buff. Buff comes to Montreat as a highly decorated athlete, excelling in basketball, baseball, and cross country. Buff helped his Cherryville Ironmen earn a final 3rd place state ranking. He was named to the All-Southern Piedmont Conference Team, and voted Defensive MVP for the Ironmen. Buff also led his team in charges drawn and steals, averaging 3.6 steals per game and shooting 40.1% from the three point line. In Tyler’s four years at Cherryville High, he helped guide the Ironmen to a 95-21 record. With Coach Robinson’s teams winning an unprecedented four Champions of Character Award, Tyler Buff has the pedigree to fit right into Robinson’s teams. Tyler is a member of the National Honor Society, earned the Boy Scouts of America’s highest honor when he was named Eagle Scout in 2004, and he had perfect attendance in school for 13 years!

This is a list of some of Tyler Buff's athletic accomplishments during his junior season:
