Every other year, Montreat College’s Natural Science Department offers a summer class called American Ecosystems, where students travel on a sleeper bus to the western United States to study the various ecosystems in our country’s national park system.
Parks visited with this class in past years have included Crater Lake, Death Valley, Petrified Forest, and Catalina Island, just to name a few. To follow the trip this year, you can visit the class’s video blog here http://mcnationalparks.blogspot.com/.
