W. H. BELK CAMPUS CENTER

The W. H. Belk Campus Center is centrally located on campus across the street from the McGowan Christian Studies Center at the opposite corner of Lookout Road and Appalachian Way. It is also next to Gaither Hall on Gaither Circle.
 On October 24, 1985, when the William Henry Belk Campus Center was dedicated, Rev. Billy Graham was the guest speaker. Belk was one of the founders of the Belk Department Store chain and had been one of the chief benefactors of Montreat in its early development.
This beautiful building includes a large mall area with student mail boxes; the Cavalier Grill; the campus bookstore; document center; offices for academic affairs, career development, and student services; faculty offices for art and business; the technology department; and classrooms and computer lab.
