The Department of Business and Computer Information Systems of Montreat College, a Christian liberal arts college located near Asheville, North Carolina, is accepting applications for an adjunct instructor appointment in Marketing beginning January, 2010 for the Spring 2010 semester. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) during the day at the Montreat campus.
A Masters or higher level degree is required, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Marketing. Teaching experience at the college level is desirable. Accredited degrees are required.
A full-time tenure-track appointment in Marketing is anticipated beginning August, 2010. An earned Ph.D./D.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing or an earned doctorate in a closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Marketing is preferred. Terminal degree candidates at the A.B.D. level may also be considered. A qualified adjunct with experience teaching for Montreat will be given priority consideration.
