Data Entry and Records Assistant - Black Mountain Campus
The Data Entry/Records Assistant position is responsible for creating new cohort schedules for Asheville and Charlotte campuses, monitoring Asheville attendance, organizing and overseeing the administrative part of the PLUS program, the administrative part of the DANTES, MAT, and Computer Competency testing for the Asheville campus, supporting the efforts of the SPAS Registrar with the Asheville and Charlotte campuses, and other duties as assigned for Montreat College’s School of Professional and Adult Studies (SPAS).

- Advanced knowledge and skills in working with Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn new software skills.
- Ability to multitask
Position Responsibilities
- Input data into systems as it relates to admissions, registration, and scheduling
- Develop new cohort calendars
- Monitor Asheville attendance and communicate with all offices regarding attendance and study group form issues.
- Generate reports from end of course surveys and submit to Faculty Services
- Coordinate the Asheville campus test dates for DANTES and MAT; assist with test schedule development; assist with communication with testers
- Work closely with SPAS Registrar with academic credit issues and discrepancies
- Support Student Services as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervision: Reports directly to the Asheville Regional Director
Rank and Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Start Date: November 2009 or as soon as possible thereafter.
