Psychology Professor - Tenure Track

The Montreat College Social Sciences Department invites applications for a tenure-track psychology position beginning in August of 2010. Montreat College is a Christ-centered liberal arts college whose faculty members should be able to communicate their Christian faith and communicate how they integrate their faith in the classroom; therefore, as part of the application package, applicants should submit their statement of their understanding of the interface of Christianity and psychology in the classroom.

Requirements

Requirements for this position include a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in psychology and evidence of quality teaching experience/potential. The position requires teaching broadly at the undergraduate psychology level. Applicants should be motivated and able to engage with students in research, advising, and beyond the classroom.
