Master of Arts in Education degree from Montreat College!

Montreat, NC-- For teaching professionals who want to add a Master’s degree to their credentials or Montreat undergraduates who want to continue straight into a graduate program in education, this additional degree program will attract a whole new group of students and enhance the offerings of the Adult Studies program.

Like all of our School of Professional and Adult Studies programs, the Master of Arts in Education (K-6) program is designed so that you can earn your degree quickly. Students in our Professional and Adult Studies programs:

     - Take one course at a time
     - Attend class one evening a week
     - Graduate in as little as two years

This unique format will enable you to achieve your professional degree goal quickly, allowing you to increase your earning power. You will enjoy developing your skills in a program that fits your busy schedule. Designed specifically for the professional educator, the Master of Arts in Education (K-6) program integrates academic coursework with practical teaching applications, from a Christian worldview. Focus is placed on philosophical and psychological learning theory, appropriate instructional strategies, critical thinking, and contemporary issues and assessment.
