Well qualified teachers from the western North Carolina area share their knowledge and experience in their area of interest and knowledge.
We have three terms: fall, winter, and spring. Six courses are offered each term on a weekly basis. During the fall and winter terms, each two hour class meets six times and during the spring term, each class meets four times.
The fall term is held from early October through mid-November; the winter term is held from mid-January through late February; and the spring term is held during the month of April. Shortly before each term begins, an orientation meeting and reception is held in which each teacher previews his or her course for the term.
Monday classes are held at the Highland Farms Retirement Center-one class in the morning and another one in the afternoon. Wednesday classes are held in the Henry Building on the Montreat College Campus in Montreat N.C. with two classes in the morning and two in the afternoon. Special events are sometimes offered during the year. |
