Montreat College holds a commencement ceremony for graduates in winter and spring. The ceremony is held at 2:00 p.m. in Anderson Auditorium on the Montreat campus on a Saturday, usually in December and May; see the Academic Calendar for current dates.
All graduates participating in commencement ceremonies must wear a black cap, tassel, and gown appropriate to the degree.

The cost for a CD with all graduation photos is $25 (including shipping and handling)--checks with orders may be sent directly to Perrin Todd.
For questions about or further assistance with these items, call the College Bookstore at 828-669-8012, extension 3602. Honor students will be given gold cords when lining up for the ceremony at no cost. Students should not wear jeans or tennis shoes to this ceremony.
Students should assemble in Upper Anderson at 1:15 p.m. for line-up. A rehearsal for the commencement ceremony is not held; rather, students are given simple instructions upon lining up.
Doors open for general seating in the auditorium at 12:00 noon. All cell phones and pagers should be turned off during the ceremony.
