Loan Deferment

If you need a loan deferment, you must supply the Registrar’s Office with the appropriate form from the lender. Be sure you complete your portion of the form before sending it to us. You may either mail the form to Montreat College Registrar’s Office, P.O. Box 1267, Montreat, NC 28757, or fax it to 828-669-2141. If you fax the form, be sure to fax both sides since the address of the lender is typically on the back side. We will mail the form to the lender for you unless you request that it be returned to you after processing.
Deferments are normally processed within five (5) days of their receipt in the Registrar’s Office. However, no loan deferment will be completed for a future semester, but only for current or past semesters. New students must matriculate and be in class before a loan deferment will be completed. |
