Making Your Room Your Home

Your room should be your “home away from home.”  Use the item checklist to make decisions about what to bring from home. Consult with your roommate before buying items to prevent duplication and to save some money.

Resident Assistants

Resident Assistants are students selected to work with residents on each floor of the residence hall. They are your "go to" people if you need help with anythingadjusting to school life, roommate issues, or any problem you may have. They are your helpers and your friends. Your RA also hosts a small group on the floor that you are welcome to join. Most small groups are centered on Bible study or prayer.

The residence halls are your community. It can be a place where you know others and others know you. When else in life can you live in such close proximity to all your friends and just walk down the hall to visit them? Taking advantage of the community in this time of your life can be one of the most rewarding things about college.
