The CLIMBE program works diligently to ensure the safety and enjoyment of students during their expedition through hiring fully qualified and highly trained field educators. Field staff are trained in wilderness medicine, group dynamics and various adventure skills.
Our CLIMBE field educators are:
• Knowledgeable, professional, and engaging
• Trained in outdoor living skills and Wilderness First-Aid
• Closely supervised by CLIMBE administrators
• Adhere to Montreat College standards
We maintain a student-to-instructor ratio that averages 5:1, and we keep groups small to promote social relationships and to create a safe, enriching learning environment.
