Our name changed from Montreat Normal School to Montreat College, to Montreat-Anderson College (named for the founder), and back to Montreat College (to reaffirm Anderson’s original intention).
The curriculum and enrollment has grown significantly over the years—from graduation classes of 7 to total enrollment of over 1,200 students at present. The addition of the School of Professional and Adult Studies in 1994 began the most rapid period of expansion. Master's degree programs in Management and Leadership and Education are the fastest growing programs today.
Through it all our commitment to Christ has been paramount.
Thank you for being a part of the Montreat College community!
