Early Encounters in North America: includes letters, diaries, memoirs and accounts of early encounters of people, cultures and environments in North America from 1601 to present.

Encyclopedia of Life Sciences: is a major reference for the biological sciences. It includes 3000 peer-reviewed and continuously updated articles.

LearningExpress Library: provides practice tests for standardized academic or licensing exams.

Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe: provides in-depth information on business, government, legal, and medical subjects. The database contains full text articles from key journals and is valuable for business, management, tax, and legal research.

Literature Resource Center (GaleNet): contains information on authors and their works (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, history, and journalism). The database includes citations to criticism, explication, monographs, and websites. In-depth biographical and critical coverage is available on major authors.

MLA International Bibliography (Modern Language Association): contains citations to information on literature, language, linguistics, and folklore. The database is international in scope and includes relevant journal articles, books, dissertations, and conference proceedings.

NC LIVE: an electronic library service of the state of North Carolina, provides access to over forty databases in a variety of subjects including education, business, psychology, health, law, and many others. The databases offer full text articles, directory information, indexing, newspaper articles, digitized books, encyclopedias, and state government resources.

Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection: this database provides coverage of more than 550 full text journals, including peer-reviewed titles covering topics such as emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry and psychology, mental processes, and observational and experimental methods.
